Once I met a woman with a leaf for a head.

She told me that she was a runaway from a land of impossible things, but not to tell anybody because the locust people were after her, trying to drag her back through the cracks.

I thought she was nice for an impossible thing.

This is for Three Line Tales. Thanks to Sonya for running the challenge and Sandis Helvigs for providing the prompt photo.

Love this – nicely otherworldly, leaving me wondering if it’s the leafed headed woman who is odd or the narrator who imagined her .. Lovely spin on the prompt
