No leaves stirred in the dry summer wind. The woman walked barefoot between the black shadows of dead trees, as she had walked there a hundred years before, when there was still green in the world besides the flowing folds of her dress.
The ghost woman in green retraces her old steps as all ghosts do, with no living soul left to witness her.
